The Green Room

The Green Room's most important role is a gathering place for residents - to socialize during morning coffee, to enjoy monthly movie nights, as a setting for workshops, rehearsals, to share a holiday meal and other celebratory events.  The Green Room is the heart of PAL Toronto.

The venue has a professionally designed platform stage and offers seating for up to 150 people.  Used as a performance space by residents, visiting artists or for outside organization’s meetings and events.

Available for booking by independent organizations for events such as: a book launch, corporate meetings, birthdays, memorials, workshops, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped and recently updated. To inquire about the Green Room’s availability and suitability email: bldgmgr_pal@rogers.com

In honour of Toronto's theatre history, the room's official name is the Crest Theatre Green Room and connects many residents to their careers.  Follow this link to discover more about the Crest Theatre.

“As a long-time PAL resident, I’ve enjoyed the good fortune of living here and being able to create a community partner called the Community Film & Arts Festival (Commffest). Many PAL residents have enjoyed participating in creating film screenings, art shows, concerts, workshops and conferences not only for our neighbourhood but others as well.
