Among the many events and activities taking place in the Green Room are a daily morning coffee program for residents; a weekday lunch program for residents, social members, and guests ($5-10 for a 3-course meal); fundraising events; memorial functions; rehearsals and performance events; meetings and private parties.
The Crest Theatre Green Room is available to residents of PAL Toronto and may also be booked by outside groups and individuals. If you are not a resident of PAL Toronto, the room may be booked for a fee of $300 per day, with an additional $200 refundable security deposit. On weekdays the room can be booked after the lunch ends at 2 PM and on weekends for longer hours. All evening events must be completed and clearing up done by 11 PM. Film shoots and holding areas are also possible, although for higher rates.
The space is set up for lounge and meal seating to hold up to 150 persons, and can be adapted to theatre seating for a capacity of 90 persons. It contains a professionally designed stage, optional audio/visual and lighting assets (for additional fees involving a technician) and full kitchen facilities (if used, additional fees are applicable as honoraria to volunteer helpers).
